Made by DowTek:
How to Change the Time Zone in Fedora Linux.
Sometimes it is important for a webserver to have the correct time. For the server to keep the correct time, we should set the timezone for the local area.
1. First, at the command prompt, change to the /etc directory:
cd /etc
2. Second, Create a symbolic link to the correct time zone file:
ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/right/US/Pacific localtime
NOTE: If you need a different timezone or this does not work, look for the zimezone files and select the path to the one you want.
locate zoneinfo
3. Finally, Run the date command to check the date:
date
